Profile
I came to the south east coast in 2013. My background was originally in media production for television and film and I worked as a media technician but I found a new job locally in community support. As part of the role over the years, I have had many opportunities to hear local people’s concerns and ideas for improving the area.
In 2018, I was invited to join the Bexhill Town Forum where we were responsible for putting on events for residents to come and listen to speakers and discuss local issues together. Through the lockdown periods, I interviewed a number of councillors and people who were involved in community matters and found this to be of interest.
My wife and I enjoy walks in the Combe Valley Country Park as well as along the Bexhill sea front. We belong to a local allotment group where we are trying to encourage bees and wild flowers into the area to support bio-diversity and natural habitats. I also take an interest in local matters that impact on businesses and individuals, and I should like to build on this by standing for election as a councillor to represent a balanced view on behalf of local residents
