Profile
I’m a long standing Collington business owner turned resident since 1998. Many of you will know me from our numerous displays & charity events at our home in Collington Avenue, Langley House.
I was fortunate enough to be elected as an Independent Councillor at Rother District Council in 2019.
Since then, I have been instrumental in supporting my local residents with a whole host of issues ranging from tackling fly tipping, appealing declined grant applications for individuals and supporting with disputes, to going on stake-out in front of a property where I’d learned that stolen motorbikes were being stored! And it doesn’t end there!
In addition to supporting individual residents, I spent a year as the Chairman of the Licensing & General Purposes Committee, two years as Chairman of Audit and Standards Committee and the last year as Lead Cabinet Member for Finance & Performance Management. These roles have given me the opportunity to influence and challenge decision making across the whole District, always putting residents and our area at the heart of everything I do.
I was honoured to be presented with the BoSTC Civic Award 2022 for Services to the Community.
Please vote for me again so that I can continue to make a difference.
